AWP | Asiimov was added to the game on February 20, 2014, as part of The Phoenix Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Phoenix. The skin was created by Coridium.
Pattern description
The skin has a futuristic design. The body of the rifle is painted white and adorned with a pattern of black and bright orange stripes. The design is complemented by graphic elements in the form of crosses and geometric shapes located in different parts of the weapon.
Effect of float
Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.18 to 1.00, which makes AWP | Asiimov available in all conditions except Factory New and Minimal Wear. The first abrasions appear on the handguard and the buttstock in Field-Tested condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the entire body of the weapon has significant abrasions and becomes noticeably darker. The skin is considered to be especially valuable at Float Values from 0.90 to 1.00 when the scope is completely abraded. In this condition, the scope is called “blackiimov” (from “black scope” + “asiimov”).

The AWP Asiimov is a CS:GO skin from The Phoenix Collection and was introduced 9 years ago on 20 February 2014. The skin is Covert rarity.
The Asiimov has a 0.64% chance of being unboxed from a weapon case in Standard quality. The chance of unboxing it in StatTrak quality is much lower at 0.064%.
The AWP Asiimov is painted with a science-fiction inspired design and was named after the famous writer and visionary Isaac Asimov.
A total of five skins have been produced with the Asiimov design. The Tec-9 Isaac (also named after Isaac Asimov) follows the same design but swaps out the white basecoat with black and swaps the orange accents with red.
Despite the lowest wear condition for the AWP Asiimov being Field-Tested (float value of 0.18) the skin does visually appear closer to Factory New condition. A heavily Battle-Scarred AWP Asiimov replaces some of the white basecoat with the black stock of the AWP particularly around the scope. These are often referred to as «Blackiimovs».

История и особенности AWP Азимов
AWP Asiimov впервые появился в игре в далеком 2014 году, вместе с кейсом «Феникс», вышедший вместе с одноименной операцией в игре.
Авик имеет довольно современный и футуристический вид, а его контрарные линии были совсем в новинку. Все дело в том, что до этого выходили коллекции вполне со спокойными цветовыми гаммами, но Азимов произвел фурор, ведь такое сочетание было уникальным для того времени.
Float данного скина ограничен от 0.18 до 1, то есть износы (качество оружия) FN (Прямо с завода) и MW (Немного поношенное) отсутствуют. Самым особенным является Float от 0.9 до 1. такой Азимов называют «blackiimov», ведь он сильно темнеет на дуле и прицеле.
