В христианской традиции также известны несколько святых с именем Исаак/Исаакий/Исакий. В православии особо почитается преподобный Исаакий Далматский. Петр Петрый, родившийся в день поминовения этого святого (30 мая по ст. ст.), считал его своим покровителем и приказал заложить в Санкт-Петербурге церковь во имя святого Исаакия (на месте которой впоследствии был построен Исаакиевский собор).
